Developer Sloclap has revealed that kung-fu brawler Sifu has slipped from its originally planned 2021 free date into Early 2022, but has released a new gameplay trailer to make up for the delay.
In a post on the PlayStation web log, the studio explained "We still felt in the first place this year that we could bring i our original planned launch date, but atomic number 3 the deadline grew finisher, it became clear that we wouldn't beryllium fit to do so without putt the character of the game at risk Oregon creating huge imperativeness connected the Sloclap squad – and neither of these options were accepted to us."
To make up for the delay, a new trailer shows soured a new night club location for the game, which eventually turns into an subsurface fight baseball club. We also set out to see the game's unique ageing machinist, where when your character is defeated, they years a couple of years. Rather than getting weaker, this actually means you become a little bit more practised and skilled — but of course, you can't age indefinitely, and if you get too old you'll die and have to restart the level.
The team are "very confident" that there won't live any more slips though, so fingers crossed Sifu should set up in the "identical first months" of 2022 connected PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. In the meantime, check out the trailer for yourself under.
